Saturday we finished planting our garden and getting flowers and food in to get ready for our (hopefully) bountiful summer harvest! We did lots of yummy ones this year, some same as last year and some new ones to try. With how warm its already been I'm a little nervous things won't do as well but we can only wait and see! I LOVE having a planted garden, i really just like the way it makes our yard look.
We went to the Linden Nursery in the morning and stocked up on our last minute things we needed and Caitlin loved looking at the little chicks!
Also our trees are still back there. We have had to stake almost all of them because of crazy wind storms and we've had some major flooding with our sprinklers back there so i'm just hoping they survive. We need to do a little more to finish the area: put in a concrete border and mulch and more plants so we'll see where we get to.
