easter events

First of all, here are some pictures of my Easter decorations: I've had them up for awhile but never got around to taking pictures. I love Springtime.
Also, this doesn't have to do with Easter but it happened this weekend: we finally got to go to the new City Creek Mall! It's just as amazing as everyone has said. We went Friday night with Mike and Jenna and walked around for a few hours. The architecture and buildings are so nice and well done, it was fun to just to walk through and see everything. It's so huge too! I loved it and I look forward to lots of future trips.
Saturday morning we went to the Cedar Hills city Easter Egg Hunt at the park. We got there right before the siren sounded to start and so i ran with Caitlin over to the 3 and under group. There were SO many kids there, and even in the youngest age group things got intense! The whole thing lasted for about 45 seconds and we couldn't get ahead of the rush so Caitlin got a total of: 1 egg. And it was one that someone had stepped on and broken so technically it was like 3/4 of an egg. Good thing she's too little to know what she was missing out on. And she also got some candy from volunteers and friends some of her little friends so she was happy anyways. They had the Easter Bunny there to take pictures with and it went pretty much as I expected: good from far but far from good. We waited to take our picture and as we got close she started saying "no no no!" and definitely didn't want to touch it. Although she was happy to wave and say "bye bye". After that we ran some errands and played outside and then that night we went to Cabelas. She loved looking at all the animals and the big waterfall and then we took her in the tunnel with the fish and at first she just wanted to look at the "beebee sheeshees" with daddy but after awhile she was running around and slamming her little body up against the glass to see every single fish she could.
