We got to go to the Brigham City Temple Open house as a family on Friday. It was a sweet experience. The drive was long but Caitlin was excited to get there and see the temple. It was a beautiful night as we waited outside and admired the building and talked about the temple and angel Moroni. The line moved pretty quickly around the outside of the temple. Unfortunately it slowed down a ton for the last 45 minutes of it and by the time we actually got to tour through the temple Nolan was having a melt down.. the kids had done so well the whole time! I was so sad that it had taken that long. But, Caitlin enjoyed it and I think she really learned more about the temple. A couple days after when we were driving by the Timpanogos Temple she pointed and said "temple!" without me saying anything.
The Brigham City temple is beautiful inside and out and (even though Nolan wasn't quite feeling the peacefulness of it) there definitely was a beautiful spirit there and I am so glad i was able to spend the time with our little family. I am s grateful for the temples of the church and the opportunity they allow us to be sealed together as an eternal family.
