summer vacay

I would like to submit that there are few things on earth that are harder than keeping a very very busy 10 month old occupied and happy sitting in the middle seat of a crowded plane, two time. Plus one layover and one delayed flight. Just putting that out there, and any other moms will probably agree.
Nevertheless, we made it and Caitlin was actually really good. Her little knees were red from crawling all over the Phoenix airport during our layover!

We started our vacation by heading to Austin for Brittany's wedding but of course in between wedding festivities got to play with the family! We played with the babies, swam, went to the park, went on wagon rides, went for a jog, and watched movies. Cason is still such a chunk but oh so cute. He is so happy and gives the biggest smiles. What a little heart breaker!

 

As usual, Caitlin found her fair share of things to get into:

I also got to go to Brittany's Bachelorette Party. We boated around Lake Austin for a couple hours then went to Hula Hut for dinner!

We hit up the mall one morning and Caitlin decided she preferred to ride in the stroller like this:

Lorraine, Stewart, Rebekah, Chris and Christine were all so nice to be the constant babysitters throughout the weekend. It was a quick but fun visit!
