This weekend we left right after I got home from work on Friday night and headed to Wyoming!
It turned out to be quite the adventure along the way... TONS of snow, no snowplows yet, me and melissa crammed in the tiny back seat of the pilot, mike and jenna crammed in the middle with a tiny bit more leg room, bags/skis/other paraphernalia packed everyone else that was open, jeff and paul piloting the car through the blizzard. We finally got to the family cabin and got settled in with a fire hot chocolate and other necessities.
The next day we had so much fun. We did all kinds of things in the snow. The boys cleared off the pond and made a huge jump on it. Then we took turns being pulled by the four wheeler on the sled up over the jump. Paul was quite proud of the flip he achieved (see video below). We also got pulled in the tube, went on 4wheeler rides, shot guns, napped, ate, played games, and other fun things. It was really one of the funnest times I've had playing in the snow... probably because I could just come inside for little spurts whenever I wanted to get warm.
None of us were ready to leave that night. It was such a fun weekend trip.
